blog bling

I want my students to learn how to develop blogs because it is becoming much more common for blogs to be used as a way to organize and present lessons.  In my STEAM class we are developing a school forest for Edgewood and I want my kids to keep a running list of our progress as well as having a place for other students, staff and families to see what we are doing.  The blog is also a great place for kids to promote others to get involved with our project.  As a teacher, I love the idea of using blogs for the same reasons...I need a way to organize and have a place to share what I do in my classroom.

*  What motivated you to become one of our campers?
I really need to get more computer savvy and I would like to use current technology in my classroom.  I would also like to have my students start creating their own blogs.

        *  What you hope to learn about in Summer Camp 2.0?

I want to learn about new tools and ways to use them, as well as getting myself up to date and confident with computer tools.

        *  What is one cool thing you're hoping to do this summer?

Complete some home-made canoe paddles.
